From Glory To Glory {Stuck}

Being stuck is never the word that we want to use to describe ourselves. But so often, this how we find ourselves. We find ourselves complacent and living out the status quo. But that is not the Lord’s heart for us. He desires for us to be ever changing and growing. It’s not just change for change sake. we are to be more and more conformed to the image  of God with every passing day.

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

From “glory to glory” may seem unattainable, but it’s not.  This is the Christian walk. We lean in to God’s presence, His Word and His Spirit. That is how we change. That is how we grow.

How have you seen this kind of change in your life?

    I see a slow change in my inner. More reliance on God’s promise. Sometimes I am so sad. Because I still choose the wrong: anger, etc

      Praise God for a slow change Ariella! I often want a microwave kind of faith but God is all about a crock pot kind of faith. He changes us through a process. Our natural instincts don’t choose the right thing but I am so grateful that He doesn’t give up on me. He is patient and kind. Praying that you are patient and kind with yourself. Be blessed!
